Calendario Ciclismo - a service for cycling fans
A website and two native apps - iOS and Android - entirely designed, developed and managed by me.

Why?
During my time at Movistar Team, one of the things I enjoyed most was publishing a page for each race with route books, profiles, maps, schedules, editorial information, broadcast details and bonuses. When that service stopped being maintained after I left in 2024, I saw an unmet need: bringing that information together and expanding it for the whole community.
Calendario Ciclismo was born as an independent project to answer one simple daily question: what races are on today, and how can I follow them?
One solution across three platforms
I launched the website on 6 April 2026, the iOS app on 15 April and Android later that month. The apps are fully native, not WebViews, and share service data and logic with the website.
By 4 August 2026, the service had 10,640 web users and more than 2,700 across the mobile apps. Twenty-seven per cent of its audience came from outside Spain and 1,017 people had notifications enabled.

How it is built
Framework-free HTML, CSS and JavaScript for the web; SwiftUI on iOS; Kotlin and Jetpack Compose on Android; shared Supabase/PostgreSQL backend; APNs and FCM notifications; MapKit and MapLibre/OpenFreeMap; GitHub Pages hosting with Cloudflare CDN; Cloudflare R2 assets and Firebase/GA4 analytics.
I process and examine all the information myself. Different language models help me with the workflow, showing that AI, when guided by judgement, makes projects even more valuable.
The project is published under the AGPL-3.0 licence. Every feature is free, with an optional subscription to remove advertising and help cover costs. User data is anonymous and never sold.
